Juniors

For the juniors the lessons are not just about golf, they are about improving their all-round athleticism, so they have access to other sports now and in the future. We encourage all potential golfers under the age of 15, to play multiple sports.

Both kids and adults will get active, stay active, and reach the greatest peaks of sport performance when following this model. Long term commitment to physical literacy and sport skill development is vital to optimize athletic potential.

Tiny Tots

FordesGolf also offers a unique program tailored specifically for Tiny Tots, introducing young children to the fundamentals of golf. This group focuses on enhancing agility, stability, and coordination. Through specially designed activities and exercises, children are encouraged to develop these essential physical skills in a playful and engaging manner.

Junior Golf Certifications

All juniors who come to me for lessons have a pathway through the Junior Operation 36 Program. Like school, and many other sports, the teaching and certification is completed incrementally, with each level having its own set of golf skills and understanding to achieve. This way the juniors have an aspiration that is not too far away.

The Operation 36 program is based on levels of ability and the juniors progress through them regardless of their age,

We hope this program will bring all juniors, to participate in golf, with an aspiration of ascending through the levels to become a club golfer, gaining a sports scholarship, and maybe one day, representing their nation.

There will be three certification days during each term and at least one during the school holiday break. The cost for the app, for my students, is included in the termly session fees. Once the student shows a commitment to the lessons, they will receive a color-coded Polo shirt to represent their golfing level.

Golf Packages

• Junior over 10 - Operation 36 package is $200 USD per school term

• Juniors under 9 - $125 USD per school term (1 hour session) or $225 USD (2 hour session)
