The Barbados Golf Club is proud to share our support for a truly inspiring opportunity involving four of our talented young golfers, who have been selected to participate in the New Links Educational Golf Program in St Andrews, Scotland – the Home of Golf.
This opportunity has been made possible through the incredible efforts of Fordesgolf, based at the Barbados Golf Club, whose collaboration with St Andrews has opened the door for our young athletes to be part of this prestigious international initiative. The New Links program brings together junior golfers from around the world for a week of golf, education, and cultural exchange in one of the most iconic golfing destinations.
While in St Andrews, our junior golfers will experience far more than just golf. They will:

Tour the historic University of St Andrews

Engage in cultural activities that immerse them in the rich Scottish heritage – all while bundled up against a very different kind of weather than they’re used to in sunny Barbados!
To help make this dream a reality, the players and their families have been working tirelessly, organising a number of creative fundraisers such as a car wash, raffle, food cart sales, and a successful night golf event. Despite these tremendous efforts, there is still a remaining shortfall of over BBD $6,000, primarily to cover airfare.
To assist with this final push, Barbados Golf Club is proud to donate a 6-month membership, including the use of a golf cart, to be offered through a silent auction. This is a fantastic opportunity for one lucky bidder, and most importantly, a powerful way to support the future of golf in Barbados.
We encourage our members, friends of the game, and the wider community to get involved. Every bid brings these young golfers one step closer to a once-in-a-lifetime experience and helps continue the important work being done by Fordesgolf to nurture the next generation of talent.
With over 80 women taking over the Barbados Golf Club at once, this event was a testament to the growing passion for golf among women on the island. A huge thank you to all the participants and our amazing sponsors who made this possible!
We’re excited to share that the FORDESGOLF™ High Performance Center is officially open! Barbados' first full public indoor golf simulation facility! The facility features cutting-edge simulators, a dedicated conditioning wall for golf-specific fitness training, and a fully air-conditioned, climate-controlled setting to ensure uninterrupted practice.
Our corporate wellness program offers a refreshing approach to employee health and team connection through golf. Designed for all skill levels, these sessions encourage employees to step away from their desks, enjoy the outdoors, and develop a new skill together.
